Overnatning Kerteminde

Our cozy bed and breakfast is located in an old Gammel Købmandsgård in the center of Kerteminde on Funen. Here you live right by the main street, a stone's throw from the church and with a small beach as a neighbor. Our Købmandsgård is a protected property and dates back to the late 1500s. The Købmandsgård consists of several exciting buildings that form the framework for the courtyard, which is paved with cobblestones. Our bed and breakfast is located in the Mellemmagasinet, where a lounge and room rental were established in 2001. Everything is kept in an old style with exposed beams and with consideration that you are staying in a protected building. In the summer, Kerteminde is filled with tourists, there are pedestrian street events, sports events, harbor parties, and large sailing competitions. Furthermore, there are some of Funen's best bathing beaches. The North Beach is packed with many happy summer guests in good weather. Here, the youth frolic at the erected volleyball nets by the child-friendly beach. Lifeguards are on duty in the tower during the high season. If you want a little more peace, you can walk to the South Beach. The South Beach is only 500 meters from Andresens farm, and the North Beach is 800 meters from there. Kerteminde is also known for its good specialty shops and eateries. If the weather doesn't invite beach weather, you can for example visit the Johannes Larsen Museum, the Fjord and Bælt Center, or the Ladbyskibet. In Kerteminde, you live right in the middle of Denmark on Funen, just a 12-minute drive from the motorway, 20 km from Odense, and 150 km from Copenhagen.
