The place is located in picturesque surroundings 3 kilometers from Varde and close to the walking path "Coast to Coast." It is very close to the Varde River, where one can fish, and canoes can be rented on-site for sailing on the Varde River, for example, a trip from Karlsgårde to Varde that takes 2-3 hours. Bicycles can also be rented. The place is about 30 minutes by car from the North Sea, Legoland, Ribe, and Tirpitz. There are 3 double rooms, and one of them also has very nice bunk beds.
